Do you have a wind machine?
If so do you get a good pay back from the electric company? and is it true that if you have a wind machine and you cant use all the electricity that the electric company HAS to buy the extra ? I would like to put on up wondering if its a good idea?

- I don't have one . I know you need many of them to produce much electricity. Good Luck! :)
- it's true....but it will cost a lot.And it will be a long time before you see a profit ....go for it
- Yes, the government passed a law that utilities have to buy excess power from you. Now they don't have to pay the same as they charge you for it. But a percentage. Check with your local utility. Good idea, well if you live on a high and windy location. Then the money you invest(2-4K),can get paid back pretty quickly. The best place I can think of to check is Home Power Magazine. It's written for people who would like to get off the grid. It's a good place to start. Good luck.
